Just a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas and in the heart of the historic "Gothic Quarter", the Barri Gòtic with its enchanting craft stores and bars, there is also a year-round store of Käthe Wohlfahrt since November 2019. The rooms in the listed, historic building have been elaborately renovated to present "the world of Käthe Wohlfahrt".
In the "pueblo de Navidad" (Christmas village), a tour of the store takes you to rooms with very different styles which will make Christmas dreams come true. The trademark of the "Christmas Village" in Barcelona, however, is a large Christmas tree that rises 4.50 meters to the ceiling of the store. It is free-standing and can be viewed both at ground level and from a gallery. It is decorated with 1,250 colorful decorations made of glass and enchants all visitors with its splendor.
