Kindertraum®

Inspired by memories of her childhood and the wonders of nature, the artist Gudrun Galler puts her ideas to paper. Experienced wood turners then develop a wooden figurine from the drawing. The tiniest parts made out of well aged beechwood are made on the lathe and joined together with the greatest care. This kind of figurine, which can consist of up to 50 small parts, is therefore made in an elaborate and complex process.

Each piece of art is given a little brass plate with the limited edition number and a Certificate of Authenticity as a seal of quality. This makes every product a one-off. The swallow vouches for the authenticity and certified quality from Käthe Wohlfahrt. Excellent quality packaging protects the valuable figurines.
